One of the great things about living in Los Angeles is the abundance of opportunities to showcase independent film. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, tonight is the Opening Night Gala for the Pasadena International Film Festival.

The theme is “Great Gatsby”, so suit up and come hob-knob with such honorees:

Lifetime Achievement Award, Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond)

Breakthrough Performance Award, Jason Ritter (Parenthood)

Comedic Mastery Award, Tom Lenk (Much Ado About Nothing)
